To further promote the deep integration of technology and industry, against the strategic backdrop of the Free Trade Port construction, Hainan Province is actively introducing teaching and research resources from multiple high-level higher education institutions in Oceania in these specialised fields. By introducing advanced teaching philosophies, research methods, and cutting-edge technologies, Hainan Province is committed to building a high-level industry-education-research platform focused on industrial digitalisation, informatisation, and modernisation.
On this platform, emphasis is placed not only on imparting professional knowledge and skills but also on honing students’ innovative and practical abilities. Simultaneously, centered on the needs of industrial development, cooperation with world-class enterprises and research institutions will be strengthened to promote the transformation and application of scientific research achievements, forming an industry chain integrating industry, education, and research with international competitiveness.
Through the cultivation of this industry chain, Hainan Province will promote the deep integration of next-generation information technology with modern service industries and high-tech industries. This will not only help enhance Hainan Province’s position and influence in the global industrial chain but also provide powerful intellectual support and talent guarantee for the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
